Biological Unit

The story featured in Giant-Sized X-Men ("Deadly Genesis") involves X-Men member Cyclops leading a new team to a mysterious island called Krakoa, where he and the original team were attacked and captured. The new X-Men arrive on the island and discover their predecessors in the ruins of an ancient temple, where their "mutant energies" are being fed off of by mysterious green vines. After freeing the team, the island begins to rumble, and it is revealed that Krakoa is a sentient island accidently created by an atomic bomb test.

  1. What a good read! It's a shame - at least for me - that the colored version removed the silver skin texture (this would have been a great Gundam reference). Sparkles

The idea of an X-Men comic using the "Biological Units" is absolutely amazing! Thank you so much for the work you do on the database!
